- To build sophisticated shapes and patterns, doing experiments on material, accessories, embroideries, etc.
- To create sketches, renderings & technical drawings with Illustrator as well as Photoshop - To define colours, textiles and accessories in collaboration with other Depts - To follow prototype with development department - To produce accurate patterns and technical specifications for product development - To support the design team by preparing necessary visual tools (i.
.
sketches,presentation mood boards, fabric samples & swatches , colour standards, etc) - To adhere to the design calendar and ensure all deadlines are met - To work as a team with product development and pattern making - Fluent in Italian & English (written & spoken) is essential - Previous experience (at least 2/5 years) within the Fashion/Sportswear industry undertaking a similar role as a Fashion Designer, preferably in RTW Man is essential and Woman - Professional experience using Illustrator, Photoshop - Strong product knowledge and technical background of textile and materials solutions - Great fashion sense & understanding of latest market trends with experience working for Italian or International Brands - Ability to handle multiple priorities (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines - Positive "can-do" attitude - Availability for research trips or meetings at Headquarter - Coordinate design team making sure time is spent in an efficient way - Understanding/experience in 3d technology is an asset - Strong teamwork, communication and relationship skills - Management and coordination skills - Strong communication skills, verbal and written and mindset to inspire - Organization and problem solving skills
