Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible!   Your role   We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer who will play a key role in designing and developing advanced mechanical components, working on complex and highly customized technological solutions.
In this role, you will oversee complex design projects from concept to realization, collaborating with cross-functional technical teams and interfacing with clients to ensure optimized solutions in terms of performance, cost, and production timelines.
Main responsibilities.
•    Design and develop mechanical components and integrated mechanical systems, with a focus on functionality, robustness, and sustainability.
•    Use advanced 3D CAD modeling software (CREO) to create detailed designs of components and assemblies.
•    Analyze and validate designs through simulations (FEA, dynamic, thermal, and structural analysis) to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
•    Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to optimize manufacturing feasibility and assembly processes for the designed components.
•    Manage the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to realization, including prototyping and testing.
•    Provide technical support during production and address potential technical issues arising during assembly and testing phases.
•    Contribute to defining technical specifications and product requirements in collaboration with the R&D team.
•    Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
•    Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the design team.
Main requirements.
•    Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
•    Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the design of complex mechanical components and systems, preferably in high-tech industrial environments.
•    Advanced knowledge of CREO 3D CAD software.
•    Experience using simulation and analysis tools (FEA, CFD, and thermal/dynamic analysis).
•    Ability to work on interdisciplinary projects, collaborating with different departments (electronics, software, production, etc.).
•    Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and advanced fabrication techniques.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•    Good written and spoken English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications.
•    Experience designing integrated mechanical systems with electronic components or embedded software.
•    Knowledge of Agile methodologies or other project management frameworks.
•    Experience in automation or emerging technologies such as Industry 4.
