By combining your expertise and technical experience in computer science, engineering mathematics and statistics with your business knowledge and experience, you will be able to design and develop new solutions based on data analysis, presenting and sharing them professionally and competently.
We are recruiting a senior data engineer with at least two years of experience in the sector.
The ideal candidate must have.
a master’s (or bachelor’s) degree in computer engineering, IT or another relevant subject; at least two years of experience working in enterprise information management projects (metadata management, data models, data lineage, ETL/ELT or data architecture); the ability to analyse, design, develop and maintain business intelligence systems (both DWH and big data); experience with RDBMS (e.
..
Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and Postgres); experience with OS environments (e.
., Linux, Unix and Windows) and shell scripting; experience with the main ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.); a good knowledge of English.
Expertise/experience in the following areas is preferred.
experience with cloud environments (e.
., Microsoft Azure) and related technological solutions; knowledge of at least one of the main programming languages for the implementation of analytics solutions (e.
., Python, Java or Scala); development of stored procedures (e.
., TSQL, Oracle PL/SQL); knowledge of data visualisation solutions (e.
., Power BI, Qlik and Tableau); knowledge of the main big data technologies (e.
., Spark, Hadoop and noSQL DB); bug fixing, corrective and AMS activities.
