YOUR ROLE : SENIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER The Application Team of the Digital Audio and Signal Solutions (MDRF Group) is selecting a Senior Engineer to support its strategy for growth. The candidate will join the existing staff, as part of a broader team in charge of different products like Navigation Systems, Audio Amplifiers, Radio Tuners, and Communication ICs for Electrical Vehicles. Main activities include: HW/SW integration, product application study, development, and optimization; customer technical support; board development and management; Application Notes; competition benchmarks; System and Functional Validation of products in development. He/she will be involved in different projects, cooperating with primary contacts (SW and HW R&D teams, System Architectures, and Technical Marketing) and will be exposed to joint activities with customers and Field Application Engineers in the Regions. We would like to meet a Senior Electronic Engineer with previous experience, preferably in the products listed above. Some of the key skills for this role include curiosity, boldness, and knowledge of Automotive Infotainment and Industrial Application Systems. Required Skills & Experiences Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering Deep knowledge in most of the following disciplines: Microprocessors Communications Smart Power RF Firmware Lab Measurement C programming languages and embedded OS (Linux, Free RTOS) in ARM architectures Software toolchain and use of debugging strategies (with emulators like Lauterbach or similar) System-level expertise in the areas of Automotive Infotainment, Audio, or Industrial Functional and electric tests for validation Board design and prototyping Business English proficiency. Additional Nice-to-have Skills FPGA design and development with Xilinx Vivado tool Basic knowledge of VHDL or Verilog and simulations Knowledge of standard buses (SPI, I2C, I2S, Ethernet, CAN ...). Finally, the candidate will be a fast learner, independent, and able to work within interdisciplinary groups. Since the Application Team is split between Agrate and Cornaredo, the selected candidates could be allocated on either side.
