Job Description Summary.
Ensure the safety and security of hotel guests, staff, and property.
Monitor surveillance systems, patrol the premises, respond to incidents, and enforce hotel security policies.
Key Responsibilities.
Surveillance & Patrol.
Monitor security cameras and perform regular patrols of hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house, and parking lots.
Incident Response.
Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents; take appropriate action and document incidents.
Access Control.
Manage access to hotel facilities; check identification and authorize entry for guests, staff, and contractors.
Guest Assistance.
Provide assistance to guests and staff; handle inquiries and address concerns related to security.
Reporting.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, daily activities, and any irregularities.
Policy Enforcement.
Enforce hotel security policies and procedures; ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaboration.
Work closely with hotel management and local law enforcement as needed.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; SIRA certified.
Previous experience in security or a similar role, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry.
Strong observational and communication skills; ability to handle stressful situations calmly; basic knowledge of security systems and emergency response.
