ROTATING EQUIPMENT PROJECT ENGINEER - TECHNICAL COORDINATOR

Per azienda cliente, multinazionale leader settore Oil&Gas, sede in zona Nova Milanese, ricerchiamo la figura di un/una:

 

ROTATING EQUIPMENT PROJECT ENGINEER - TECHNICAL PROJECT COORDINATOR

 

He/she is the job technical manager in the execution phase and is the reference point for customers, suppliers and other internal departments.

He/she is responsible for drafting and checking some of the project documents, checking and approving all the client documents.

He/she monitors progress of the job documentation and Document Controller operations.

He/she is also responsible for discussing technical issues raised by customers and identifying any "Change Order".

Objectives & Measurement Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

In the bidding phase: - No involvement At the start of the contract:

- He/She reads the client’s MR (Material Requisition) and the contract, as indicated by the Mechanical Application Engineer (MAE) and the Project Manager (PM).

He/she is responsible to analyze the MR as per distribution list distributed by the MAE.

- Definition of customer and supplier document lists according to Material Requisition - Participates in the internal Kick Off Meeting (KOM).

During the job execution:

- When required, he/she supports the engineering department for all design tasks: provides all data and information necessary for the project and if necessary directs Engineering to technical solutions in accordance with Customer specifications/requirements (e.g.: defining component position in skid, piping routing, etc.)

- Preparation of documents of his/her own competence, review and approval of other job documents. - Verification of documents returned by customers/suppliers: analysis and preliminary evaluation of customer comments and supplier documents before distribution to other corporate entities.

He/she discusses with other departments the resolution of comments if necessary. In the case of comments of simple implementation, he/she modifies and revises the document in first person or can delegate the document completion to the Project Engineer

- He/she requests technical variants to suppliers, identifies and defines new scope of supply (the issue of the variant of the PO is in charge of "Procurement").

- Support in compiling the Comment Resolution Sheets (in charge to Engineering).

- In accordance with CO Mgr and PM, can delegate project documents or versions of document submitted by himself but with minor technical comments, to the Project Engineer

- He/she supports PM during Expediting visits with inspectors /representatives sent by customers and/or suppliers.

- Participation in the KOM with the Customer +

- Participation in the KOM with suppliers

- Participation in any technical progress meetings with the Customer and distribution of information to other departments

- Participation in the PIM (Pre Inspection Meeting) where necessary.

- He/she is in charge of and resolves the points of Punch List of his competence and related to subcontracting.

- If required by the MAE, he/she completes technical alignment for the buy-out that requires more detailed design prior to purchasing order
