Company Description Reservation Agent Full time, permanent role The Hoxton is getting ready to open its doors in Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region and home to some of the world’s most famous masterpieces of Renaissance art, architecture and monuments.
This eye-candy city is packed with culture and is the birthplace of gelato – we did not need any persuading to make it our second home in the country.
The Hoxton in Florence will feature 161 beautiful bedrooms of varying sizes, a large ground floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop and courtyard.
There is also a basement meeting and events space.

Job Description What you’ll do… Manage new and existing individual rooms reservations through telephone, email, and website reservations.
Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Keep an eye on our booking channels.
Maximise revenue and identify sales opportunities.
Work with corporate clients/bookers and agents.

Communicate with the front office and restaurant teams to facilitate the guests’ stay.
Work closely with the revenue and sales team to ensure rooming lists are correctly entered and revenue objectives are met.

Previous experience in hotel reservations is preferred but not mandatory – it’s all about how you contribute to the team! We can teach you everything you need to know about the world of hotel reservations.
You’re great with computers and on the phone.
Passion for exceeding guest’s expectations.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently, prioritise work and ask for clarification when needed.
