RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate is expected to work closely with our teams developing research on the political dynamics of climate policy.
Possible tasks include but are not limited to.
Supporting the team in designing and analyzing general population surveys Supporting the team in designing and collecting data for elite and stakeholder surveys Supporting the team’ work on systematic reviews of the climate policy literature Supporting the team’s computational text analysis work The job location is Milan, Italy.
REQUIREMENTS We are looking for a motivated person with the following requirements.
Master’s degree in economics, political science, or any related fields.
Strong quantitative and econometric background Fluency in programming language such as R, python, and STATA.
Familiarity with survey design, data collection, and analysis Familiarity with Qualtrics Fluency in English (Italian not needed).
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and diverse environment committed to high-quality research.
DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The appointment period will be for 9 months as research assistant.
The gross salary will be based on qualification and working experience and competitive with major research centers in Europe.
CMCC provides some additional benefits like flexible working time, support during the immigration process, if needed.
