RELIABILITY ENGINEER

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES The Reliability Engineer will have the following key accountabilities: Manage and coordinate the Team under his/her responsibility, motivating and training them on the topics of safety (environmental and H&S), production, and protection of company information and assets; Oversee and supervise, in the role of “Preposto per la Sicurezza”, based on his/her skills and experience, work activities with the aim of ensuring that safety measures are correctly applied; Guarantee the correct data collection of OEE and maintenance data (CMMS); Analyse machine failure data (breakdown analysis) with the support of company IT systems (CMMS, Aspen, other) using defined Problem Solving tools (Root Cause Analysis and other); Coordinate working groups (production, maintenance, quality) aimed at improving the reliability and maintainability of the machines, in order to reduce corrective or curative maintenance and thus reduce maintenance costs; Define and formalize, through the preparation of timetables and checklists, Preventive Maintenance Plans complying with the company objectives and the maintenance strategy defined by the RELIABILITY MAINTENANCE Function, interfacing with Operating Maintenance (Execution) and Production Staff; Define the needs of spare parts according to the defined maintenance policy, interfacing with METHODS and WAREHOUSE; Define the necessary skills (internal and external) for carrying out Preventive Maintenance activities; If necessary, provide support for OPERATING MAINTENANCE during breakdown interventions; Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence in the development of specific projects; Prepare the schedule of activities to be carried out during the stops and in accordance with the involved Functions, organize resources and materials and verify the results (completeness and compliance with deadlines); Verify compliance with Preventive Maintenance plans in terms of both effectiveness and efficiency; Identify and report to Reliability Maintenance Manager the opportunities for Predictive Maintenance development; Participate in the design of new and revamped machines by promoting activities to improve Reliability and Maintainability; Collaborate with METHODS in the drafting of maintenance procedures; Verify the technical and economical performances of Maintenance through the appropriate KPIs and KAIs; Participate in company meetings with Production and Maintenance; Collaborate with Maintenance structure (local and Global) to develop Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and to develop Risk Based Maintenance (RBM); TECHNICAL SKILLS The main Reliability Engineer Technical Skills are: Knowledge of policies, procedures, and rules to implement safety and protection of people, information, and property, contributing to forming and maintaining a safe work environment based on interdependence. Knowledge related to the development and management of engineering projects for reliability and efficiency improvement, including responsibility for subsections of complex projects, using general engineering practices oriented to reliability principles. Knowledge of root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability centered maintenance (RCM) methodology. Knowledge of predictive and preventive reliability technologies. SOFT SKILLS The main Reliability Engineer soft skills are: Time management; Ability to analyze problems and situations with precision, depth and identifying all the elements present; Ability to summarize intended as the ability to integrate the available data and quickly identify the heart of the problems to provide concrete, fast and realistic solutions; Openness to change and diversity understood as the ability to easily adapt to changing situations over time, to embrace ideas and methods different from one's own; Ability to innovate, therefore to be able to see problems from different angles and potential opportunities; Autonomy and enterprising spirit; Strong functional/transversal communications skills that means ability to communicate clearly and effectively, knowing how to adopt the most suitable communication style for the situation/interlocutor; Strong interest for reliability, process optimization; Be polyvalent with multiple competencies and technical versatility; Leadership skills, being a point of reference and guide towards the achievement of objectives, actively listening to and able to delegate activities and tasks to its employees according to their competences providing them with autonomy and the necessary information; Focus on excellence. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Education Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronic. Experience 3-5 years, preferably in the reliability maintenance of industrial plants. Language requirements Mandatory: English (advanced); Nice to have: French. Digital requirements Nice to have: Knowledge about CMMS (SAP) / technical documentation, ASPEN, standard software packages (Office, etc.); Other requirements Nice to have: Green Belt Certification. Business Trips (percentage) % MAIN INTERNAL/EXTERNAL Internal The Reliability Engineer operates within the perimeter of the Roquette Cassano Plant and interfaces with the following Services / Sectors: Production Departments, Utilities, Safety and Process Safety dept., Energy sustainability, Technical Services, Engineering, Industrial Performance, Purchasing Service. He/she also collaborates with the corresponding figures in the Global Maintenance Group function, for the sharing of knowledge, methodologies and standards in the relevant areas.
