This exciting new role will be tasked with improving the Reliability and Maintainability of the assets supporting manufacturing operations onsite.
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for originating and developing analysis methods to determine reliability of our asset portfolio, striving for the optimum in terms of uptime and downtime (for service).
They will acquire and analyze data out of our CMMS and other information sources.
They prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports to define reliability problems and will recommend improvements.
The Engineer analyzes reliability problems and investigates to identify the required reliability approach for the situation, with consideration given to the cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment.
They determine cost advantages of alternatives and develop action plans that align with internal/external customer demands for reliability processes/equipment to avoid failures.
Key Responsibilities.
Improve the reliability of technical assets in close collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and other site functions and putting it into action.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects related to the equipment used in the Carvykti production process.
Work with global manufacturing colleagues for defect resolution and knowledge sharing.
Develop and apply business processes in the field of Reliability and Maintainability.
Conduct risk assessment and risk mitigation (e.
., FRACAS, FMEA, HAZOP, RCM, etc.).
Integrate and implement reliability concepts in day-to-day business by supporting curative, preventive, condition-based, and predictive maintenance.
Provide valuable insights and support remediating actions on Non-conformance investigations.
Conduct hands-on experiments on operational equipment to expertly diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
Monitor asset performance including performance reviews.
Contribute to the asset replacement/obsolescence planning and equipment replacement for the site.
Support the development/advancing of technical standards for assets.
Monitor, evaluate, and pilot new technologies to support reliability targets.
Actively communicate regularly with project leads and project delivery stakeholders.
Qualifications Education.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University Degree required; focused degree in Engineering, Science, or related field preferred Experience and Skills.
Required.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience Experience in Reliability Engineering Experience in a bio-/pharmaceutical plant-based environment in an operational function (production, maintenance, process engineering, and/or engineering) Ability to operate both strategically/conceptually and connect easily across different levels in the organization Ability to prioritize and handle workload and be able to handle shifting priorities based on critical deadlines so that business needs are always met Service mentality and ability to proactively collaborate with teams and partners, working hands-on on aspects of asset ownership, while identifying areas of improvement Preferred.
Experience with Risk Management processes (such as HAZOP, FMEA, RCM, and/or FRACAS), including conducting risk assessment/mitigation Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo or SAP-PM) Other.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
