R&A VP, PPR RESEARCH TEAM MANAGER

Description Gartner is looking for a VP, Team Manager, to manage a team of 4-8 Researchers covering the Procurement, Research & Development (R&D), Quality & Manufacturing roles in the Supply Chain practice.    What You’ll Do    Lead and develop a team of researchers to create great content across several key roles (Procurement, Quality, Research & Development (R&D), and Manufacturing) and multiple content types including case studies, toolkits, and benchmarking analysis.  Develop provocative and pragmatic ideas to support development of content storylines that cross key initiatives and topics including digital transformation, talent, functional performance & design, strategy and roadmap development, and new product development.  Manage performance, create effective group norms for a collaborative culture focused on continuous innovation, content excellence, and employee development.  Direct resources and ensure on-time and high-quality fulfilment of a portfolio of research content.
Provide clear and constructive edits to documents and presentations to ensure quality deliverables for clients and skill development for researchers.  Foster an environment of diversity, inclusion and engagement on our team and drive Gartner’s commitment to DE&I throughout all aspects of the business.

     What you’ll need   Extensive experience coaching and developing teams to high performance and engagement.  A track record of empathy, adaptability, and authenticity as a human leader  Masters degree preferred and/or 10+ years relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience  Experience conducting primary and secondary research utilizing qualitative and quantitative data for pattern recognition.  Experience converting qualitative and quantitative information into clear frameworks, narratives and visually compelling presentations.  Project management experience with the ability to mentor and coach members on the research team.  Proven competence for meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and managing work under ambiguous/uncertain circumstances.  #LI-LB1 Who are we?   At Gartner, Inc.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is USD - USD.
Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
