Por qué te necesitamos? The Customer Service Department has an opening for a full time Shift Service Operator.
Job responsibilities and requirements are as follows.
Job Responsibilities • Safely & efficiently operate a fork lift truck, including general inspection and change out of LP tanks • Work constructively with shift team to achieve operational goals in a safe manner • Recognize defective products and segregate them from #1 production and identify root cause • Responsible for accurate loading, receiving, and inventory control measures.
• Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment, avoiding damage of plant property, employees and contractor employees.
Must recognize unsafe conditions and practices and make corrections to prevent injuries and property loss.
Required to complete safety audits/inspections of the assigned work areas; thorough investigations or incidents and accidents, job safety analysis and actively participate in daily safety meetings.
• Responsible for maintaining of Housekeeping Plans as established and assigned.
• Internal contacts involve other department personnel, production, maintenance, quality and other administrative management personnel.
• External contacts may involve vendors, service personnel, customers, rail and trucking personnel.
• Significant problem solving situations involve loading error prevention, reassigning carriers due to equipment failures, effectively utilizing and maintaining equipment, maintaining an organized and safe working environment.
• Accountable for maintaining/evaluating inventory levels of finished goods inventory, transferred materials, raw materials and dunnage.
• Accountable for monitoring and maintaining mobile equipment, safety equipment, the safe and efficient operation of all other machinery and equipment within the department.
• Expected to carry out other duties as assigned.

ob Requirements • Requires a high school education, or equivalent, plus specialized training in material handling, fork lift operation, and basic accounting skills or the equivalent training and experience to complete the above duties.
• Good written and oral communication is a must, successful completion of basic math and language skills testing may be required.
