QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Leading global supplier of technology and services Location: Udine Azienda Location: Udine Offerta We are urgently looking for a QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support to manufacturing / technical functions (MFO/TEF) ensuring consistent application of quality methods and techniques - target to improve the KPI performances and strengthen the processes. Address quality issues (process and material related) by identifying problems, coordinating the root-cause analyses, examining solution options with manufacturing / technical functions (MFO/TEF), and following up on action plans. Effectively communicate and reinforce commitment to quality improvement efforts. Lead quality meetings and routinely prepare target-oriented quality data. Participate in the development and review of FMEA and Control plan, conduct capability analyses. Recognize and prevent quality and safety risks in the production processes as well as in the final products, offering solutions. Actively participate in daily management meetings on the shop floor, make fast decisions, and follow up on related activities. Review measurement equipment and support in the evaluation of new potential measurement devices. Perform process audits as per ISO 9001 - ISO/TS 16949, and follow through the related action plans; review procedures making suggestions for improving / alignment with central directives, procedures, and norms - target compliance. Support process stability analyses and capability studies on existing processes applying the appropriate use of statistical techniques. Review and analyze results, propose improvements - target to improve process stability. Contact with customer: Analyze customer complaints and perform root cause analyses actively using and teaching quality methods. Contact with supplier: Define test plan for the release of new items (together with ENG/TEF/EDP), evaluate the tests, develop and support PUQ submit ISIR/PPA documents for new products. Evaluate material issues and manage operative NC vs the supplier. Represent QMM in minor changes (change requests) or ratio projects, develop test plans to release changes. Competenze ed esperienza REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Education: technical degree (i.e. Material Eng.) - materials knowledge. Good level of written and spoken English. Computer Skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Mechanical aptitude (i.e. intuitive understanding of mechanical processes) willing to go to gemba to deeply understand the processes. Assertiveness and solutions-oriented problem solver. Readily offer opinions and take action even when their position may be unpopular. Able to sustain opinions in a rational and constructive discussion. Team working, proactive, target-oriented aptitude and approach. Basic knowledge on how to perform risk assessments with a logical and rational approach, systematic approach in thinking, ability to identify severity of the situations and extend to other potential areas involved. Basic knowledge of Quality tools as 8D, FMEA, CP, 5W, Ishikawa, SPC, Cp/CpK, MSA, %GRR, lessons learned, PDCA. Presentation skills, written and verbal, clearly and effectively, also to management (e.g. in public meetings). NICE TO HAVE: Automotive sector working experience for 2/3 years. Certified auditor according to ISO 9001- ISO/TS 16949 - VDA 6.3. German language skills. Experience with other quality software applications beneficial. (e.g. statistical analysis) SAP knowledge - Q-DAS knowledge. Leadership and management potential, able to serve as a deputy, decision maker.
