Job Description.
TDI BT – Application Operations Application Operations team is part of Branch Technology (BT) department which is responsible for the Level 2 Application support activities and for overseeing the stability of the day-by-day operations and improvements of applications in production, to ensures the services are delivered effectively and efficiently to meet business needs.
In details it is responsible for the following activities.
Deliver the application services required to support daily business operations, ensuring that IT application systems and services are available for business use when required; Proactively monitor the availability, performance and capacity of application and infrastructure services; Manage and execute all required BCP and DR strategy in both test and non-test situations.
Your Role In your role you operate, accordingly to ITIL process, on Incident, Service Request and Change, including Third Parties relationship.
In the CAM (Change Assurance Manager) role you are responsible for formal and content verification of each change to guarantee they are compliant with Deutsche Bank procedure.
You will be responsible for the Level 2 Application support activities and for overseeing the stability of the day-by-day operations and improvements of applications in production, to ensures the services are delivered effectively and efficiently to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities Application Management.
Application Support (Control and Monitoring), Incident Management, Service Request Management, Release Management.
Ensure smooth Transition of projects from UAT phase to production phase by planning the activities in compliance with Banks Change Management policies.
Application Monitoring to drive continuous enhancements for both stability and productivity.
Evaluate area of improvements for system performance, system stability and ensure that solutions are implemented including on-boarding application to various approved bank tools for stability, monitoring etc.
Manage relationship with Business (eg.
Communications etc.) Manage relationship with Vendors (eg.
For incident management etc.) Execute all required BCP and DR strategy in both test and non-test situations.
Interfacing with internal and external IT Audits and contributing to the audit activities.
Ensure availability of application documentation as per Deutsche Bank's processes Manage security certificates.
Set up and maintain different environments for UAT and production, including management of hardware and software upgrades.

Your Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of Application Architectures Knowledge and provable experience of midrange technologies (API, REST/SOAP protocols, Business Works, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OpenShift etc.) Provable experience and knowledge of database systems (Oracle, etc.) Profound analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Pro-active and flexible working approach Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Italian.
