As one of our Product Owners you'll play a key role to maximise the value our products create for our customers and for Open GI by helping to define the roadmap, priorities and clarity of the outcomes expected. You’ll also be helping to define new products in the ever-evolving Mobius ecosystem. Your key responsibilities Representation of product/feature/stories within the development team Delivery management of initial product implementation Product/feature/stories and voice of the customer advocacy during the delivery process Collaborate with and support of other business teams to drive customer advocacy Provide vision and voice of the customer advocacy for each product/feature/stories Work with the development team to refine backlog items and plan individual sprints Lead requirement gathering within the development team Play an active role during ceremonies Document new features and stories, demonstrate latest iteration of product during reviews, record and react to feedback Work closely with the delivery team to ensure all impediments are identified and removed Collaborate with and manage communications to stakeholders Support non tech teams within the business in relation to new projects Qualifications Certified Agile Product Owner (essential) Educated to a business degree or relevant subject (advantage) Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications (or working towards) would be advantageous Experience Excellent knowledge and experience of Agile, scrum methodology and practices as a Product Owner Insurance and Broking industry experience including policy administration systems Experience in B2B and B2C user-experience and design DevOps or JIRA Experience working with IT systems in a Broking/Insurance environment Skills Adaptive team player Good standard of MS Word and MS Excel Excellent communicator Strong presentation Excellent customer relationship and negotiation Excellent time management Aptitudes Decisive Clear communicator Strong work ethic Positive attitude Value-focused Logically minded Encourages collaboration across departments Calm under pressure Mission and Values Our mission is to be both the Technology Partner and Employer of choice for the UK General Insurance Market.
