ithin the Group Purchasing Organization, Global Product Line Purchasing has the key responsibility of awarding new businesses, in close collaboration with the Global Categories.
ur mission is to ensure the award of businesses to the best suppliers through project negotiations, using advanced tools as refined cost models, Supplier Development methodologies, etc… fulfilling the targets of cost, quality and flexibility.
What you’ll do.
s a Category Manager, you are responsible to develop and maintain a competitive, supportive and high-performing portfolio of suppliers to be utilized across all the product lines.
Along with the product development, you will drive the strategic road map for achieving greater standardization and innovative technology introduction.

anaging the business strategically with the objective to leverage, to promote  complexity reduction,  simplification,  modularization, cost performance and innovation drivingDevelop and retain strong supplier relationships.
anage relationships / partnerships with cross functional teams and internal stakeholders.
esponsible for data research, analytics, and management of direct material category strategies.
upport the development of annual budgets and 5 year strategic plans for the Business Area identifying opportunities and risks.
enerate initiatives and projects to deliver productivity targets.
ead internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) as a member of a cross-functional sourcing teamProvide indirect and collaborative leadership to the IndOp purchasing teams to ensure on-time project execution & implementation of category strategies.
articipate, prepare, and support RFQ and other strategic sourcing activities.
anage and evaluate contractual agreement terms to ensure compliance.
ssist in the implementation and expansion payment terms (NOWC).
valuate and propose actions and initiatives around simplification and complexity reduction.
articipate in negotiations and use creative ways to drive value by the utilization of Value Based Sourcing.
aximize buying efficiency, minimize supply disruption, and financial risks for the Business Area.
upport Program Management on new model Launches and platform refresh programs.
ddress / support resolution to supplier driven performance issuesIdentify potential contract improvement opportunities & re-negotiations.
ork with the Global Category and Business Area Purchasing to build and deploy a category strategy that aligns all Business Areas requirements.

3-5 years of relevant, progressive strategic sourcing, category management or equivalent leadership experience requiredProven Track record of managing and delivering cost reductions / value creation.
bility to work with key stakeholders in global locations and at various levelsStrong knowledge of the strategic sourcing methodology and its application.
trong knowledge of direct materials categories.
emonstrated ability to effectively manage strategic supplier relationships, including relationship building, performance, development and integration.
nowledge of supplier processes and cost drivers.

ou will be based at the Susegana Plant Location, our administrative office located in Santa Lucia di Piave (Treviso, Veneto, Italy).
It will be necessary to be available for national and international traveling two to four times a year.
