Procurement - Pharmaceuticals - San Juan - 12-Month Contract This is a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities.
Lead the procurement of services and materials for large-scale capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and awards.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, finance) to streamline procurement activities and ensure all processes meet cGMP and regulatory standards.
Oversee service contract performance, manage risk, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and budget constraints.
Handle vendor disputes, negotiate change orders, and resolve issues related to service delivery or contract terms.
Ensure procurement activities align with CAPEX budgeting and project timelines, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
8 + years of experience in procurement, with a focus on managing service contracts and CAPEX projects in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex service contracts and manage vendor performance.
Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations, ensuring compliance in all procurement processes.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to align procurement with large-scale project objectives.
