PROCESS ASSEMBLY ENGINEER - HUNGARY

Our client, a leading company in the automotive electronics industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Process Assembly Engineer to join their dynamic team in their state-of-the-art plant located near Budapest, Hungary. The company is renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence in the automotive sector. General Duties and Responsibilities: The Process Assembly Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the automated assembly processes are safe, efficient, and compliant with company requirements. The role involves implementing technical solutions to improve production and collaborating with various departments to optimize assembly operations. The primary responsibilities include: Ensuring Safety and Operations: Ensuring the safety and proper operation of automated assembly equipment within the plant, in accordance with the company's risk assessment document (DVR). Developing Technical Solutions: Conceiving, developing, and implementing technical solutions to optimize automated assembly processes. Team Collaboration: Being a key member of the industrialization team, reporting directly to the function manager, and collaborating on the design and production of assembly machines and equipment. Equipment Requirements: Defining technical and ergonomic requirements for new assembly equipment. 3D Modeling and Drawings: Creating 3D models and executive drawings for components, devices, layouts, and other assembly process needs. Supplier Collaboration: Working with the purchasing department to select suppliers and service providers, overseeing the technical aspects of new installations and modifications to assembly equipment. Cost Efficiency Monitoring: Monitoring and optimizing assembly processes to ensure cost efficiency. PPAP Participation: Participating in PPAP (APQP, feasibility study, etc.) meetings in collaboration with customers and the QA department to ensure the quality of the assembly process. Change Requests: Working with the QA department to request product or process changes, eliminate defects, reduce customer risks, and improve assembly process efficiency. Lessons Learned Activities: Engaging in continuous improvement activities based on experiences from assembly processes. Innovation: Promoting innovation in the design and implementation of assembly processes. Spare Parts Management: Managing the supply of spare parts based on manufacturer's drawings and maintaining computerized archives of manuals, drawings, and technical declarations (CE and others). Maintenance Preparation: Planning and managing systematic (planned, unplanned, preventive, predictive) maintenance activities for assembly equipment and related spare parts. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive or electronics industry. Strong knowledge of safety standards and risk assessment. Proficiency in 3D modeling software and creating technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
