nn nIn this role you will be in charge of.
nn n+ coordinating and managing the production planning and scheduling for the repairing activities on pumps.
You will work closely with the line Manager to make sound business decisions that positively impact the ability to meet the needs of our customers while satisfying quality, inventory, cost and delivery requirements.
n+ the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process and the preparation of assembly work and documentation.
This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements and incoming check on replacement parts.
nn n**Responsibilities:**n nn n+ Using the MRP system, translating the consolidated sales forecasts into a master production schedule / build schedule.
n+ Managing all planning inputs.
sales orders, OEM forecasts, custom / special orders, and strategic build plans.
n+ Preparing weekly production schedules.
n+ Assisting management to resolve problems with late shipments, material shortages, customer schedule changes, and cancellations of customer orders.
n+ Initiating and coordinating vendor corrective action for non-conforming material receipts.
n+ Preparing, coordinating, and participating in physical inventory counts.
n+ Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.
n+ Demonstrates an advanced understanding of inspection equipment, their functions and uses to ensure that all parts and assemblies are within specifications.
n+ Perform quality checks on incoming items.
n+ Ensure all parts and components are clean prior to assembly and that assemblies are completed properly, following all assembly procedures.
n+ Perform final check before to release the pump for delivery.
n+ Operate various precision measuring tools.
n+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.
n+ Participate in CIP activities as needed and comply with all Flowserve policies and procedures.
n+ Follow all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment.
n+ And any other duties assignedn nn n**Requirements:**n nn n+ HS Diploma/ BS or BA Degree and 5-7 years relevant experiencen n+ Workshop experience.
n+ Knowledge of automation control and electrical components.
n+ Experience as a mechanic for rotating machines, mechanical devices or as a general mechanic.
n+ Fluency and proficiency in the practical application of MRP logic, scheduling logic, order policies, capacity planning, input/output control, product structures, routings, and standards maintenance.
n+ Knowledgeable in master scheduling, production planning and detailed scheduling, demand management, purchasing, and cost accounting techniques.
n+ Superior analytical and problem solving skills.
n+ Good communication and organizational skills required with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and internal departments in a diverse environment.
n+ Capable of calculating basic mathematical functions including computation of rate, ratio, and percent and to convert one type of measurement into another.
n+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and technical drawings safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
n+ Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly to peers, supervisors, and customers.
n+ Basic computer aptitude to use/learn data entry systems and to use Microsoft Office Package, Microsoft Excel skills.
nn nMust be willing to work overtime and weekends as required on short notice.
