POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER

We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to explore early synaptic changes occurring during the prodromal stage of Huntington’s disease (HD) and which changes are modulated by cholesterol-based therapies. The research fellowship (12 months, renewable) is available starting from March 2025 at the University of Milan, Department of Biosciences, via Celoria 26, Milan, in the research group led by Prof. Marta Valenza. The candidate should be highly motivated and preferably have expertise in mouse models, standard biochemical and immunofluorescence techniques, and confocal imaging. Technical skills in cellular and molecular biology would be an advantage. Prior experience in the field of neuroscience is preferred but not required.
