esearch at the Gozzi lab is aimed at understanding howthe brain works as an integrated network in health and disease.
The Gozzi lab addresses this question by combining causal neural manipulations in rodents with functional neuroimaging methods (fMRI, fUS), multimodal recordings, and cutting-edge neuro-computational approaches.
The goal of this project is to implement widefield optical imaging of neurotransmitter activity in the mouse neocortex.
This work will be carried out in Rovereto (Italy), with key input by Prof.
Evelyn Lake, at Yale University (USA).
Technical help from onsite experts in design of advanced optical technologies will be provided.
his research is ultimately aimed at understanding how endogenous modulatory transmission controls the functional organization and dynamics of large scale brain network.
