Descrizione dell'offerta di lavoro
Applications are invited for three postdoctoral fellowships, each with a duration of 12 months, supported by the research grant “Dark Complexity.
exploring dark matter scenarios with multiple components”, awarded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, I.
.
(Portugal) for projects promoting cooperation with CERN, and led by Dr.
João G.
Rosa.
wo of the postdoctoral fellows will be based at the Center for Physics of the University of Coimbra, working with Dr.
João G.
Rosa, and the other postdoctoral fellow will be based at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, working with Dr.
Orfeu Bertolami.
The fellowships are expected to start no later than November .
his research project is a joint venture of the universities of Coimbra and Porto, in Portugal, also involving an international team of researchers from the universities of Granada (Spain), Oxford (United Kingdom) and Trento (Italy).
The postdoctoral fellows will be expected to actively contribute to the project’s research goals, with a focus on primordial black holes and complex dark sectors with multiple particle species.
Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in particle cosmology, and namely in these topics.
andidates must hold a PhD degree in Physics or related areas obtained no more than 3 years before the application date.
pplications should be sent by e-mail and include a motivation letter, Curriculum Vitae (including publication list) and the names and contact details of two referees who may provide reference letters upon request.
