Dafne Campigli Di Giammartino, who has extensive experience in the fields of 3D chromatin architecture, epigenetics, stem cells and RNA biology https://www.

e aim to understand how non-coding elements (DNA/RNA) and their epigenetic/epitranscriptomics modifications regulate 3D genome architecture and gene expression in stem cells and cancer models.
To address this question, we use cutting-edge chromatin conformation assays such as Hi-C, Hi-ChIP and Pore-C in conjunction with other -omics techniques (e.
.
ChIP-seq, TT-seq, scRNA-seq) and in combination with CRISPR-based genetic and epigenetic engineering tools.
In-house produced data is then integrated with publicly available datasets with the final goal to understand how ncRNAs can induce and/or maintain 3D promoter-enhancer contacts, which ultimately determines the transcriptional program that dictates stemness and tumorigenesis.
