OUR TEAMNumerical simulations of physico-chemical systems are one of the main tools of modern science.
However, the current methods need to be improved to meet societal needs.
To this end, we are seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral candidate to join the Atomistic Simulations Research Unit, led by Prof.
Michele Parrinello.
The goal of the project is to advance numerical simulations and algorithms.
The successful candidate will be engaged in designing novel physics informed learning algorithms to study rare events in biological processes.
Such algorithms will be of strategical importance in help addressing some of mankind's cogent issues such as challenges in drug design.
strong candidate is a computational physicist or chemist with working knowledge of machine learning and practical experience in simulation of biomolecules.
n particular, your main responsibilities will be.
nvestigating open research problems in atomistic simulations,writing research papers,developing open-source software to enable the community to fully reproduce the results presented in these papers,you will possibly be involved in tutoring PhD students and interns.
HAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINEPhD in Physics, Chemistry, Biophysics, Computer Science, or related disciplines;Good record of publications in top tier conferences/journals in Comp.
Chemistry/Biophysics and or ML;Strong problem-solving attitude;Strong Programming skills (Python, etc.)Ability to properly report, organize and publish your research results;Proficiency in spoken and written English.
