OUR TEAM You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where psychologists, behavioral neuroscientists, and engineers collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.
The Neuroscience and Society Research Unit is coordinated by Salvatore Maria Aglioti, who has extensive experience in Social and Cognitive Neuroscience.
The research focuses on a variety of social neuroscience topics ranging from body awareness, error processing, social interaction, deception, empathy for pain, social touch, social group coding, interoception and brain-body interactions.
ithin the team, your main responsibilities will be:%26middot; To create experimental paradigms aimed at investigating socio-moral behavior, sense of agency, interoception and gaze-following behavior;%26middot; To collect and analyze behavioral, neural (electroencephalography), physiological (electrocardiography, electrogastrography, thermal imaging), and eye-tracking data;%26middot; To work with both typical and neurological populations (patients with brain lesions or with Parkinson's Disease).
