Within the Energy Carriers Business Line, the Plant and Piping Department is looking for a  Piping Material Engineer. The position requires knowledge of international standards in the field of piping components and experience in the design of line specifications, resulting in the ability to independently develop the following main activities: ·      Definition of piping material specifications starting from contractual documentation; ·      Issuing material requisition (technical supply specification) for purchasing piping components; ·      Issuing technical bid evaluation on piping components; ·      Managing supplier documentation downstream of order issue; ·      Site assistance. The Piping Material Engineer will work on FEED and EPC projects in compliance with the required deadlines. He/she will be able to move in a context characterized by a marked presence of technical software’s and digital platform to aid design and material management. QUALIFICATION: Degree in Mechanical/Material Engineering or similar qualification KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Proficient in English LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contract YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: ·      at least 3 years of experience ·      Knowledge of International standards such as ASME/ASTM/EN and customer standards (Saudi Aramco / Shell / ...) IT SKILLS: PUMA, Aveva ERM, Smart Plant Material, Office SOFT SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills. LOCATION: Milan (MI) Willingness to travel and/or Italy/foreign contracts for even medium-long periods complete the profile, both at engineering centres and construction sites.
