Please note, this project requires a PS-team for implementation, YOUR role will be to support my UN-client on PeopleSoft ISO compliance and its implementation over next 9-12 months.
Our client is an international organisation in Rome and a great reference in any CV! On-Site in Rome would be great, but up to 100% Off-site/Off-shore is possible.
A competitive rate will increase chances to be selected.
TASKS (to be supported with a PS-team).
Understand and assess the current process in terms of receipt, upload and processing of payments and bank statements Understand and assess the current process for the production and output of payment files which are uploaded to the SWIFT platform.
Analyse the ISO requirements relevant for UN-client processing Propose a technical solution or solutions for the adoption of ISO within Peoplesoft to enable compliance with ISO and validate with the business user.
Develop and implement the solution in a development environment ready for UAT testing within 6 months of project start-up Ensure the solution allows banks and bank accounts to be switched from MT to ISO format in a phased approach.
Support Treasury in UAT testing (this may be prolonged given the number of banks to be coordinated) Provide 1 month of post go-live support Provide technical and functional documentation for the solution and all processes involved.
SKILLS Functional Requirements Extensive demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) of working with PeopleSoft Financials 9.
with particular experience in developing and configuring Cash Management, Banking and Accounts Payable Knowledge of ISO would be advantageous Technical Requirements.
Extensive demonstrable experience of at least 5 years with PeopleSoft FIN 9.
, in particular Banking, Cash Management and Accounts Payables modules.
Development experience with People Tools 8.

Good working knowledge of writing and customising PeopleCode, (knowledge of Application Packages would be an advantage) Previous experience in generation of XML files Knowledge of SwiftNet messaging would be advantageous.
Good working knowledge of Application Engine, SQR Good working knowledge of PeopleSoft Query Extensive experience with SQL preferably with Oracle databases Experience of working with SWIFT or similar payment systems would be advantageous Demonstrable experience of documenting technical solutions Experience of report writing as part of project approval processes within large enterprises Clear and concise communication skills, particularly written communication.
