For our Office in Rome we are looking for a dedicated Operations Specialist to join our team. What you will do: The Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing the internal operations within Elgin Italy. This position involves coordinating day-to-day activities, optimizing processes, and supporting project management to enhance overall efficiency and productivity. The operations specialist reports directly to the Country Manager and works closely across the cross-functional teams which include development, finance, legal and other business units, to align project initiatives with organisational goals and priorities. Supporting the implementation of operational strategies, initiatives and policies that support the company's growth and objectives. Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Analyse operational data to identify trends, monitor performance, and propose improvements for Italian operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and implement best practices. Prepare regular reports on operational performance, project status, and potential challenges for management review. Support the preparation of materials for regular internal board reporting, presentations, and supporting materials for external consultants. Manage and coordinate all office activities such as managing events, preparing for members of other offices arrival, coordinating meetings and other administrative tasks. Assist in onboarding tasks for new team members. Manage activities of our employment consultant and payroll provider. Work cross-functionally with People & Culture, Operations and Finance. Your profile 3 years experience in a similar operational role. Proven work experience as a Office Manager, Administrator, or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Professional attitude Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organisational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks About us Elgin is a leading international solar & storage company, bringing projects from origination through development to energisation.
