Established in 2008, PETRONAS Lubricants International manufactures and markets a full range of high-quality automotive and industrial lubricants products in over 80 markets globally. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, PLI has over 30 marketing offices in 23 countries, managed through regional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Turin, Beijing, Belo Horizonte, Chicago and Durban. Its state-of-the-art Global Research & Technology Center in Turin, Italy is home of innovative automotive engineering worldwide and the nucleus of its research and development initiatives around the world, anchored on a rich heritage in lubricants technology. Currently ranked among the top 10, PLI is driving an aggressive business growth agenda to secure its position as a leading global lubricants company. PLI works in tandem with Mercedes-AMG engineers to co-design the V6 hybrid Formula One engine and develops fuels, lubricants and functional fluids that power the Silver Arrows. He/She will operate in the Operations & Supply Chain field, guaranteeing support for production activities and the development of new projects with a view to Production Efficiency, Innovation and Sustainability. Main responsibilities: Analyze production processes, flows and procedures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in order to reduce costs and improve the productivity of the lines and the organization; Promote the principles of Lean Manufacturing and the methodologies of Operational Excellence at all levels and company functions to support the constant growth of the business and the definition of process standards; Track, manage and develop KPIs such as production efficiency (OEE) and planning adherence (PA) by periodically presenting them to the Management Team; Support the Engineering and Production team by carrying out data analysis to identify potential CAPEX and OPEX investment solutions and propose/evaluate their economic feasibility; Provide support to line saturation analysis and Capacity Requirement Planning management to guide potential short- or long-term development projects; Issue of purchase requests regarding CAPEX and OPEX of the Operations budget; Support and monitoring of expenses related to the CAPEX and OPEX Operations budget; Support to Marketing & Sales departments for the engineering of new products, supply of time and operating costs. Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical/managerial. 2/3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence roles in production contexts. Basic knowledge of economic/financial aspects: CAPEX, OPEX, business cases, approval processes. Excellent knowledge of the Office package, knowledge of AutoCAD software is a plus. Fluent knowledge of the English language. Ability to synthesize, report and present the work done. Entry with flexible hours + smartworking (10 days per month). Multinational context but with an informal approach. Canteen.
