MITTELYOUNG: 2025 CALL FOR THEATRE, DANCE, MUSIC AND CIRCUS PROJECTS (ITALY)

Mittelyoung: 2025 Call for Theatre, Dance, Music and Circus Projects (Italy) In-person mobility Open for: Individuals / Organisations & Collectives, Artists, Music & Sound, Performing Arts From 15 to 18 May 2025, nine selected shows will be staged in Cividale del Friuli, Italy, for the fourth edition of Europe’s most under-30 festival. Applications are open to artists and ensembles under 30 in the fields of theatre, music, dance, and circus from 27 European countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ukraine. The festival is based on an open call for projects that will be examined by a group of under-30 curators (curatores) appointed by Mittelfest in cooperation with some institutions and training bodies in Friuli Venezia Giulia region and SNG Nova Gorica (Slovenia). Under the coordination of Mittelfest artistic direction, the group of curatores will select two theatre, two music, two dance, two circus projects, and one project that may belong to one of the above categories. From among those nine projects scheduled, up to three shows will be re-scheduled during Mittelfest Tabù from 18 to 27 July 2025. Associazione Mittelfest will grant to each selected project (stage 1) an economic support (co-production contribution or cachet) up to 4,000 EUR, which will be calculated on the basis of the number of people involved and the type of performance, including all social security and tax charges by law, as well as return travel and accommodation expenses. Each project passing to the second selection will be granted at least the same financial support allocated in stage one. #J-18808-Ljbffr
