Make your mark for patients To strengthen our  Immunology  team we are looking for a talented profile to fill the position of  Medical Scientific Liaison Dermatology - North of Italy.
About the role   As a Medical Scientific Liaison, you will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ensuring they receive the latest information on emerging trends, scientific data, and updates on new products, pipeline developments, and respond to scientific request information about off-label uses of current products.
You will continuously monitor evolving guidelines and keep KOLs informed with the most current information related to our products and our pipeline.
You will ensure collection of insights from KOLs regarding unmet needs of both patients and physicians to drive continuous improvements in patient care standards.
You will proactively share relevant insights with the whole medical team and cross-functional colleagues and collaborate on initiatives and projects that enhance local patient value.
You will work with You will work with clinical studies and clinical development teams, sharing insights with the R&D and Evidence generation team.
As the leading local scientific expert for UCB solutions and the local PVU members, you will support market access colleagues when needed, presenting RWE, HEOR, and clinical information to regional and local payer accounts and formularies.
In addition, you will support both commercial and medical strategic teams to ensure the success of strategic projects as defined by national brand and medical plan.
You will closely collaborate with local sales colleagues to ensure proper management of information requests by physicians and address the needs of scientific information by doctors and KOLs.
What you will do   Understand the implications of new issues and trends on the stakeholder’s activity, leading to a deeper understanding of the stakeholder’s behavior and strategy.
Consider the impact on and alignment with the organization when setting goals, making decisions and organizing activities and uses knowledge of drug life cycle to inform decision-making Create and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders by working in partnership and consistently demonstrating value for patients Achieve access to relevant stakeholders in an appropriate manner Work in collaboration with colleagues to ensure compliance and delivery of quality services on schedule with external partners and agencies Translate patient insights from applicable sources into patient value-driven engagements Connect industry and therapeutic trends with stakeholder knowledge to teach patient value insights Manage different approaches to evidence generation, and the synthesis and interpretation of data, to identify insights that can be used to differentiate value proposition Actively prepare account strategies based on stakeholder segmentation and specific stakeholder needs or objectives Manage regular and ongoing access to all relevant stakeholders being part of the decision-making process Support the strategic medical team in onboarding and scientific training of colleagues when needed   Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills.
Doctorate degree (PhD in a relevant field preferred) is required or Masters’ degree At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role in Dermatology (preferred) or in any other relevant therapeutic area such as Rheumatology and / or Inflammatory disease Full professional proficiency in Italian and English (both oral and written) Travel requirements.
60% of the time.
Preference for candidates based in Lombardia, with travel covering Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Val D’Aosta, Trentino, and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
xperience in launching new products is a great asset Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate complex scientific concepts in 1to1 and group settings Ability to actively listen, process information and ask questions to stakeholders to identify opportunities and insights Team player; ability to share good practices and knowledges Business acumen with a basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare   An ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment Dynamic person with strong value commitment   Focus on achieving results through creative problem-solving and a positive mindset Open to change and embraces new challenges with enthusiasm and adaptability Proficient and positive attitude toward using digital tools (e.
