Job Summary Within D&T Equipment Engineering organization, we are looking for a Mechanical Designer.
In this role, you will be part of Infeed Modena team, within Preparation & Forming Solutions department, designing solutions in the area of Machine Body.
That position is based in Modena, Italy.
What you will do As Mechanical Designer for Machine Body, you will.
Drive innovation and mechanical design activities on CAD models and 2D drawings.
Main focus areas will be.
machine structures, platforms, doors, shape and ergonomics, utilities (air/water), conveyors, sampling units.
All in accordance with hygienic design standards for food and beverage industry.
Design and collaborate with other mechanical and electrical designers, translating high level requirements to subsystem specifications.
Coordinate the continuous update and maintenance of machine documentation (drawings and bill of materials), ensuring cross-platform commonality.
Drive and support the creation of pneumatic/water diagrams and technical manuals.
Coordinate general requests/issues coming from Production dept.
or from customers.
Support test activities, including test specification and data post-processing together with test engineer and automation engineer.
Participate to project meetings, showing design solutions and discussing technical decisions with relevant stakeholders.
We believe you have Knowledge of Mechanical Design and 3D CAD systems (PTC Creo preferred).
Knowledge of Hygienic Design principles Knowledge of Manufacturing Technology Knowledge of Mechatronics (is a plus) Good skills in coordination and management of technical activities.
