No Offer Description Call n. 27431/2024 - The President of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics announces a public selection procedure, based on CV and interview, to award n. 1 Senior Level 3 research grant for conducting technological research at the INFN Structure of Torino on the following topic: “Mechanical design, qualification roadmap and TRL assessment of an integrated system of silicon sensors for tracking ionizing particles in space.” The grant lasts 24 months and is renewable for a further 12 months. Employment contract with full social security: no Total amount per fellowship per year: 31308 Euro Covers salary: yes Covers travel and subsistence: no Covers research costs: no Covers other costs: In order to promote the mobility of researchers, the winners of the technological research grants who have obtained the second level degree in a Province or Metropolitan City other than that where their research grant is seated, will receive an additional economic incentive, provided that they are not resident or have not had the residence or scholarships or other research grants paid by the INFN or other scientific institutions in the three years prior to the signing of the contract in the Province or Metropolitan City of the destination. This additional economic incentive may be granted for up to 3 years. Maximum duration of fellowship: 24 months Eligibility criteria Applicants must hold an Italian or equivalent Master-level degree in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering obtained not earlier than 10 years before the call deadline, and a CV suitable for conducting research activities, including at least two years of specific graduate-level research activity. Eligibility of fellows Country/ies of residence: EUROPE Nationality/ies: EUROPE Selection process The Evaluation Committee will grade each candidate with a maximum of 100 points, divided as follows: - 30 points to grade the quality of the CV; - 70 points to grade the quality of the interview. The minimum grade required to pass the interview is 49/70 while, to achieve a valuable ranking, the final evaluation, as sum of the two scores, must be above 70.
