Our top priority is to find a solution that meets the characteristics of the product to be packaged and its requirements in terms of logistics, packaging material, sustainability and energy efficiency. Almost all leading branded goods manufacturers in the food and non-food sectors worldwide pack with our innovative ROVEMA technology. We are present in over 50 countries through our subsidiaries and agencies. Your profile A degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable Resident in the market (preferably Milan) A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in the packaging machinery industry or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on sale and business development Market knowledge: in-depth knowledge of the Italian food packaging machines market, including economic, cultural, and business landscapes is preferred Experience in developing and executing sales strategies in diverse markets. A proven track record of achieving business objectives, driving growth and delivering results. Robust knowledge of strategic and conceptual market development, the sustainable alignment of all processes and activities to the requirements of the markets and the alignment of a "team" to achieve the goals Familiarity with sales issues in dealing with customer-side planning, budgeting and decision-making processes and confident handling of customer-side buying centers Good methodical skills in the areas of communication and presentation as well as a general entrepreneurial attitude Open and integrative personality, reliable and authentic demeanor Analytical, clear and structured thinking and behaviour Persistence and assertiveness as well as constructiveness and solution-orientation Intercultural and international experience and eloquent behaviour in global structures and multicultural project teams Business fluent in English Key responsibilities Strategic sales leadership: develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy with a focus on sales & service performance across the Region of Italy. Full responsibility for new machine sales order intake for region Italy: maintain and enhance relationships with (key) customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Establish and execute regular customer visits. Act as the main point of contact for major accounts and oversee complex negotiations. Market expansion: lead efforts to penetrate new markets and industry segments. Tailor market entry strategies to the unique economic and business environments within the region. Identify core industry segments and actively approaching them. Team development: lead & manage a high-performing regional sales & service team to achieve sales targets. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management to drive excellence for the local team consisting of service technicians, spare parts sales and admin (total 5 people). Interface, reporting and communication: provide regular updates to the global leadership team, including detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, competition and strategic initiatives. Foster open communication between the region and the global headquarter. Financial Management: Oversee and manage the financial performance of the subsidiary, focusing on maximizing profitability through effective sales strategies and cost management.
