POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Global Finance Systems & Reporting will play a critical role in the execution of the Abiomed Finance roadmap for the current backlog and future system and reporting improvements.
The roadmap aims to enable with enhancements and new deployments various finance technology and reporting tools creating a new standard to enable monthly closes, financial forecasts, management reporting and decision making globally across the Abiomed Finance and business teams.  The role will also play a critical part in the execution of the data strategy, data quality and data governance processes as well as be responsible to ensure in scope compliance requirements are met.
He/she will collaborate cross functionally within Abiomed as well as with the JNJ MedTech, Enterprise, FS&T and SigniFi teams to deliver these new enabling capabilities with the objective of transforming data into insights for decision making and enhancing the efficiency of delivering Enterprise FP&A requirements.
The role requires strong technical skills as well as leadership and communications skills to be an effective change agent in the ways we work.
This position is located in Danvers, MA and will have one direct report.  He/she will report directly to the Abiomed Finance Director, Global Finance Systems & Reporting Implementation Lead, and be part of the Abiomed Global Franchise Finance team.
The key responsibilities include.
Collaborate with Abiomed finance and cross functional partners as well as with JNJ teams to execute the financial systems and technology roadmap, including the current backlog and new continuous improvement enhancements Manage and execute ERP requirements, data governance and data quality processes Ensure all in scope compliance requirements are fully met for all processes Collaborate with the Finance and Business teams to understand and drive value creating decision support reporting Lead in executing the FS&T and SigniFi roadmap while assisting in writing the playbook for future integrations Educate stakeholders and act as a change agent for the Abiomed global Finance organization with a goal of increasing digital and data literacy skills Qualifications 5-7 years of working experience Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills required Proven ability to work independently and appropriately strategize, plan, prioritize, and communicate progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment required Strong technical knowledge of SAP is required Knowledge of Abiomed finance process and data is preferred Demonstrated big picture thinking while balancing with appropriate attention to detail, accuracy, and sound judgment in delivering business outcomes Proficiency to network, collaborate and build trusting relationships with partners cross-functionally in a complex and fast paced environment Demonstrate a global and enterprise-wide mindset The base pay range for this position is $ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.  Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.  The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.  Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
