Live Graphics Systems (LIGR) is an innovative cloud platform for live sports with primary functions including the creation and automation of cloud graphics for broadcasters and streaming, automated highlights, and advertising. Eyes Vision is an AI and Computer Vision company founded in 2016 in Trento (Italy), offering on-court and off-court technology services for tennis and padel, such as ball and player tracking, real-time technical statistics, line calling services, VAR, video clips, and automatic highlights. We are looking for a Senior Streaming Systems Engineer for LIGR . We are seeking an expert Streaming Systems Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud-based streaming infrastructure. The role involves maintaining and advancing our existing streaming platform while having the freedom to shape its technical direction. Our platform handles live content ingestion via protocols like RTMP and SRT, processes multiple simultaneous streams, and delivers to various destinations with independent encoding profiles. Core Focus Areas Cloud-based streaming architecture and implementation Media processing and transcoding systems (e.g., FFmpeg, GStreamer, custom solutions) Multi-protocol stream ingestion and delivery (e.g., RTMP, SRT, WebRTC) High-availability streaming infrastructure System monitoring and reliability Performance optimization and scaling Primary Responsibilities Own and evolve our production streaming infrastructure Maintain and enhance automatic stream processing pipelines Design and implement system improvements using native languages (e.g., C, C++, Rust) Develop robust monitoring and recovery systems Optimize encoding and delivery performance Architect solutions for redundancy and scaling Drive technical decisions for platform evolution Lead incident response and system reliability efforts Required Experience Deep expertise in professional streaming systems Strong systems programming background (e.g., development of media processing tools, protocol implementations) Experience with media frameworks and potentially building custom solutions Proven track record with cloud infrastructure Understanding of video codecs (e.g., H.264, HEVC) and their configuration tradeoffs Experience with monitoring and observability in production environments History of maintaining production streaming systems Technical Skills Proficiency in systems programming languages Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities (e.g., troubleshooting stream latency, handling network instability) Deep understanding of streaming technologies (e.g., adaptive bitrate, low-latency optimization) Experience with cloud platforms Expertise in Linux systems Understanding of networking and protocols Ideal Candidate Characteristics Ability to evaluate and implement new technologies Experience with live streaming operations Background in high-scale media delivery Understanding of streaming security Experience with streaming analytics Interest in emerging streaming technologies What We Offer Opportunity to shape streaming infrastructure Technical autonomy and decision-making Competitive compensation package Remote work flexibility Professional development support Collaborative engineering environment About the Role This is a full-time position focused on managing and evolving our streaming infrastructure.
