LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis. For our great project in Iraq we are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer in our Office partner headquarter in Cochin. The applicant will manage the Civil and Structural Team with short missions to the project (onsite - Iraq) and our vendors/partners in Dubai (UAE). In case of mission, food, transportation, visa, accommodation will be care and charge the Company (Sicim Spa). In India food, transportation and accommodation will be care and charge the technician. The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following: Responsible for the electrical engineering design work on assigned projects Provide leadership for the other electrical engineers in our Power team Working with Project Engineers and Project Managers on developing workload forecasts, design schedules, and budgets for electrical engineering work activities Functioning as the “Engineer of Record” on projects Performing Power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protective coordination, arc flash analysis) Providing technical support for business development activities such as developing proposals One-line and three-line diagrams Conducting arc-flash hazard calculations to determine arc-flash boundaries and required PPE Protective relay and metering one-line / three-line diagrams AC/DC schematics Panel Layouts Equipment layouts and sectional views Connection Diagrams Bill of Materials Cable Schedules DC power distribution design Developing construction and equipment specifications Supporting projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning Grounding Analysis and Design Reviewing engineering work performed by peers Attending client meetings Client and site field visits Level-specific responsibilities: Serves as lead engineer / engineer of record on mid-to-large size projects and programs Provide senior management with project updates/team development issues as needed Supervisory responsibilities for engineering staff Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts. Presents complex technical solutions to clients. Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others. Participates in the development of technical proposals. Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule Strong written and verbal skills with an ability to lead engineering tasks 12+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience with at least five (5) years leading electrical engineering projects. Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish. Plant Startup and Commissioning Field knowledge Power systems analysis software experience (SKM, EasyPower, Etap). Renewables experience Functioned as the “Engineer of Record” on at least two (2) projects Experience working in collaborative 3D model environments (e.g. Navisworks) All CVs must be submitted with authorization for the processing of personal data in accordance with EU Regulation No. 2016/679 - GDPR.
