This position is located in Maranello, Italy and reports to the Head of Concept & Composite Design. Key Responsibilities: Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments. Design support for a variety of composite components and assemblies. Design studies for the concept stage of the new car design program. Have a thorough knowledge of composite materials and production techniques. Have a thorough knowledge of the F1 technical regulations. Follow all safety regulations in all venues. Other duties as assigned by their manager. Education and Work Experience: Must be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a strong knowledge of composite materials. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a composite design engineer within motorsport. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Communication, ability to work under pressure, self-motivation, time management, conflict resolution, adaptability, willingness to learn, etc. Equipment and Applications: Must be proficient in the use of CAD system: Catia V5 / V6 3dx.
