For more information visit Job Function ProTech (Product and Technology) Office Locations Leeds Reports to Head of Engineering Purpose Offers best-in-class support and assistance to employees in relation to desktop, event, and cloud services alongside Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) support across all locations. Key Responsibilities Install and maintain computer and event hardware and software Liaising with client IT partners on-site network requirements Onsite or remote support for hardware issues during an event Support Services and Delivery with device tracking and management in preparation for events Provide guidance and self-help documentation on the operation of new software and computer equipment Act as Senior Internal systems administrator – Google Workspace, Jira, Slack etc Ensure Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and ransomware plan is in place for all regions Maintaining security policies processes and procedures, providing the lead on PCI and security-related projects. Manage employees' hardware inventory, purchasing, issuing, and retrieving hardware as required by HR Liaising with security vendors to ensure security across our developer cloud infrastructures in all territories Automated provisioning of AWS services using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines Develop AWS cloud solutions encompassing technology, process, and people for infrastructure services, database services, logging, monitoring and alerting, network and security Key Performance Indicators System Logging, Monitoring & Alerting to ensure upkeep of Availability SLA’s Resolution of tickets within SLA Implementation of new microservices in conjunction with developers Documentation of application layers and deployed infrastructure Maintain security posture, including PCI certification Skills & Experience 3-4 years experience in an IT Support / Cloud role Ability to work to strict deadlines and within constraints Google Workspace administration experience Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience in delivering internal IT training Strong knowledge of networking and security Understanding of core Amazon services including EKS, EC2, ELB, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Cloudflare and Auto-scaling Knowledge of working with container services – Docker, Kubernetes and Helm Charts Ability to investigate application and infrastructure issues utilising ElasticSearch, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus. Hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines to establish and maintain infrastructure services. Experience working in an agile DevOps environment Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Preference will be given to candidates with: Some experience with RFID, mobile payments and/or card payment processing. Some experience within a cashless, RFID, mobile, payments, events, or ticketing software environment with relevant industry knowledge.
