IT INFRASTRUCTURE & SECURITY ARCHITECT

4 U Consulting The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure and security systems. She/He will also suggest the best practices and shape the Global strategy together with the Head of IT infrastructure for a multi cloud and hybrid (VMware + VMC) environment. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the IT environment. Skills required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Proven minimum 8 years experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure and security solutions Industry certifications such as VMware VCP, CCSP or other ISC2, TOGAF Strong knowledge of networking protocols, systems architecture, and security principles Expertise with AWS cloud platform Expertise in storage solutions NAS/DAS/SAN Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills English is a must (at least B2), Italian is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Key tasks and responsibilities: Implement redundant VMware VMC hosts and orchestrate the subsequent AWS EC2 instances migration Define and implement an hybrid VMware architecture between VMC and on premise ESXI Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT infrastructure that aligns with the IT roadmap and industry best practices Design scalable and robust IT systems, virtualization solutions, servers, networks, storage Define and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard the organization's data and information assets Architect and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS ensuring seamless integration with onpremises infrastructure Architect and implement a backup infrastructure (and policy) between premise and cloud using Veeam technology Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security threats to recommend and implement innovative solutions Evaluate and select hardware, software, and third-party solutions to meet the organization's technical requirements Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of security incidents or system failures Conduct regular drills and tests to validate the effectiveness of these plans Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into IT infrastructure and security solutions Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner Branche: Elektronikindustrie/Automation Funktion: Technologie/EDV Führungsperson: Nein Anstellungsart: Dauerhafte Arbeit
