ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB   The candidate who will be hired in the role of International Sourcing Logistics Manager will have these specific characteritics.
Responsible for the International Transport & Logistics perimeter (exclusively at global forwarding level), reporting hierarchically to the Head of Sourcing Logistics and functionally to the Head of International Network  Responsible for tendering, negotiation & supplier selection (AIR & OCEAN), working on any possible synergy activities for EssilorLuxottica Group in the region, achieving the best logistics cost and service through dedicated tenders & RFQ Partner with Shippers and Receivers in troubleshooting issues in the network and study and implement back up plans.
Dynamic and exciting position that allows to work with teams based in different countries and that requires a deep understanding of the different needs expressed by the Business for each of them.
Be the reference point for the central organization for any need related to the global forwarding sourcing activities   AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES.
NEGOTIATION.
Lead the contract negotiation process with internal partners and suppliers COST IMPROVEMENT.
Measure/report and action cost improvement with controlling department COMMUNICATION.
Communicates across all levels of management.
Schedules, prepares and delivers executive leadership level briefings, acting as the voice within EssilorLuxottica representing the supplier, ensuring a predictable, balanced partnership is developed CORPORATE GUIDELINE.
Coordinate, execute and track implementation of corporate strategy at domestic level LOCAL GUIDELINE.
Identify, qualify, and formalize preferred suppliers with logistics department TENDERING.
GF AIR & RFQ tender, each of them once a year CONTRACT COVERAGE.
Ensure appropriate contract coverage with legal department Educational Background in Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics At least 3+ years of experience in Logistics, with an extensive knowledge of AIR & OCEAN transportation industry Ability in data gathering and data management oriented to analytics  Strong problem solving skills Presentation skills (towards mid-upper management) & Solid experience with Excel ad Powerpoint proficiency Solid experience in international environment Driving for result WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?   In EssilorLuxottica you have the feeling of being part of a “success story”, no matter where you work in the EssilorLuxottica world, you can really make an impact.
