The Senior Project Engineering Manager position is available in our service group aimed at providing professional support to EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracting companies in the oil & gas sector.
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to oversee the engineering aspects of our projects, including coordination of multi-site and offshore project teams.
As a Senior Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of engineering activities, meeting project objectives, and delivering high-quality results within budget and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities.
Lead the development and execution of engineering plans, schedules, and budgets for assigned projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
Collaborate with the project management team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Supervise and mentor a team of project engineers, designers, and technical staff, promoting a collaborative work environment.
Provide guidance and support to project teams, resolving technical issues, and fostering effective communication.
Coordinate and manage multi-site and offshore project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective resource allocation.
Utilize extensive knowledge and expertise in engineering principles and practices specific to the Oil & Gas industry.
Review and approve engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software and experience overseeing the development of detailed engineering models.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities.
Work closely with procurement and construction teams to optimize project design, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
Actively participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions, providing expert guidance and support.
Regularly communicate project updates to clients, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction #LI-EU Qualifications and Skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering).
A master's degree is a plus.
Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in engineering management roles within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in an EPC contractor environment.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards relevant to the Oil & Gas sector.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and efficient solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Experience in coordinating and managing multi-site and offshore project teams.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
