Your role and responsibilities Strategy.
Define, develop, and executes the strategies and business plan on focus refinery, petrochemicals, chemicals industries and applications in collaboration with local segment sales and marketing teams, in line with the overall BL Instrumentation strategy.
Drives a profitable growth by focusing on penetration, innovation and expansionMarket analysis.
Activates operation intelligence, benchmarking and analysis in order to identify Industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.
Understands relevant regulations and standards in the selected market segments to capture new business opportunities.

Defines key targets (e.

volume, portfolio mix) and ensures these are achieved for the segment(s).
Ensures business plans are in place and executed by a market oriented organization.
Drives the growth of the top line in each target industry segment.
ales & product marketing.
Ensures ABB\us value proposition for the target segment is developed and well communicated (internally and externally).
Supports local Sales organizations to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment(s).
Actively participates to reinforce ABB\us visibility by strengthening external market segment communication in coordination with the Marketing Communication team and by participating in dedicated customer events and segment trade fairs.
Feeds back to the business line on market developments and requirements.
Develop and implement segment trainings and application notes to ensure customer satisfaction in cooperation with PAMA division and BL Product ManagementAccount management.
Ensures that the major accounts in the segments are identified and prioritized.
Maps market requirements and opportunities to actions for ABB and coordinates with Divisions, Sales units and other relevant teams (such as Group/Strategic Account teams, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) teams) to implement these.

Uses standard reporting tools to accurately identify future opportunities and measure progress by segment.

Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed Qualifications for the role A degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 5 years relevant experience in oil & gas industry in midstream and/or upstream.
Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus Entrepreneurial thinking and pursuit of innovative approaches Managerial and strategic thinking skills A collaborative, solution -focused approach High level of analytical skills and creativity Strong self-motivation and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Fluency in English.
