HUMAN AND ARTIFICIAL MOVEMENT ANALYSIS: MODELS AND APPLICATIONS

Fields   Motion Capture, Automation, Computer Programming, Machine Learning, Mathematical Methods Profile   IMT Lucca invites applications for a Research Fellow position in human and artificial movement analysis, models, and applications, with particular reference to the study of trajectories by means of machine learning, optimal tracking techniques, and /or other mathematical methods.
IMT Lucca is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Research Fellow to join the research activity of IMT Lucca in the context of the PRIN project MAHATMA (Multiscale Analysis of Human and Artificial Trajectories.
Models and Applications) and the PRIN PNRR project MOTUS (Human and Artificial Movement Analysis.
Models and Applications).
The candidate must have a cross-disciplinary research attitude, integrating knowledge in models of automation engineering, computer programming, machine learning, and movement analysis.
The position is for one year.
Activity   The Research Fellow will be involved in the development and implementation of models for the analysis of human and artificial trajectories.
Formal requirements   Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematical Methods of Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Physics, Statistics, or other fields related to the topic of the research; a good knowledge of both written and spoken English is required.
Specific requirements   The candidate must have a professional background to work in a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team; A prior experience in automation engineering and machine learning is preferrable but not necessary; A Ph.
