OUR TEAMYou'd be working within theData Science and Computation Facility at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT).
The Data Science and Computation Facility supports Institute scientists with high-performance computing and data analysis.
It manages the %27Franklin%27 supercomputer, which includes around 100 CPU and GPU nodes, and helps with code compilation, execution, optimization, queue management, and software containerization.
The facility uses a cloud-HPC approach to efficiently manage multiple computing clusters.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

System Monitoring and Support.
monitoring system performance and availability, responding to alerts and ensuring systems are running smoothly.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution.
assisting in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing first-level support to internal teams and escalating when necessary.

Software Build and Deployment.
supporting the build and deployment process of software updates, ensuring successful implementation and minimizing downtime.

Documentation and Reporting.
maintaining accurate documentation of system changes, incidents, and resolutions, and assisting in creating reports for ongoing system health.
SSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
trong Knowledge of Linux OS and the related programming environments.
