for the restaurants within our facility, we are looking for a restaurant hostess/steward for borgo santo pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens.
the individual is responsible of managing restaurants’ reservations, assisting, greeting, and seating restaurant guests.
he/she has to provide an enjoyable dining experience by ensuring that customers have everything they need.
main responsibilities.
– welcome guests warmly, providing all the necessary information and support.
– take and manage reservations over the phone, by email or in person.
– manage seating optimization.
– escort customers to the table and make them comfortable.
– constantly coordinate with other departments, such front office and concierge, to ensure a smooth reservation process and communication flow.
candidate profile.
– fluent level of english and italian languages is required; knowledge of an additional language is considered a plus.
– previous experience of at least one year in a similar role, preferably in luxury hotels.
– excellent customer service attitude and interpersonal skills.
– attention to details.
– outstanding communication and organizational skills.
– ability to work and coordinate with team.
– problem solving skills and proactivity.
