HEALTH, SAFETY AND FACILITIES LEAD

We listen to customers, claimants and our colleagues to help our continual learning and development. We are hiring a Health, Safety & Facilities Lead . Within this role you will play a critical role in keeping all colleagues, claimants and visitors to our sites safe. You will drive a culture of safety across our network through regular site and compliance audits as well as health, safety, and sustainability initiatives, while also ensuring that facilities at our sites are maintained to the highest standards and homeworkers are operating in a safe and compliant working environment. As Health, Safety and Facilities Lead you will ensure that all relevant site risk assessments are in place, regularly reviewed and have been read and signed by all colleagues for all PFAS operated sites, and develop robust and localised operational procedures are in place at each site to ensure our colleagues remain safe at all times, such as when lone working. Main Duties: To provide company or site-specific training to colleagues as neccassary To build and maintain a database of training records relating to health, safety and facility compliance. To regularly visit and audit PFAS operated sites to ensure that health and safety rules are being adhered to and that sites remain safe and operational at all times. To organise, document and monitor all regular facilities maintenance, not limited to PAT and legionella testing. To liaise with the Prime Providers and specialist contractors where necessary to arrange repairs and certified maintenance as necessary To oversee security, access systems, and emergency procedures for PIP sites and work with existing security personnel at WCA sites, ensuring a safe environment for all colleagues. To actively champion sustainability across PFAS and working closely with the Social Values team to ensure we achieve our client objectives when procuring services and products. To work with the IPRS compliance team on group initiatives and policies where required. To act as the single point of contact for the Prime Providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and reporting requirements. To work closely with the Recruitment Team to identify equipment requirements for new colleagues and distribute accordingly. To lead on DSE compliance for PFAS, acting as point of contact for DSE escalation, to include the assessment of colleague needs, ordering of appropriate equipment and referral to further specialist support as necessary.
