POSITION: Head of License DIVISION/DEPT: License Division, HBH & Bags REPORTS TO: Commercial Director LINE MANAGEMENT: None LOCATION: Flexible- accessibility to the office as required TRAVEL: Within the UK The Opportunity- Head of License We are seeking an expert in Licensing to join us at Solent. This is a great opportunity to work with our current licensors and to grow our license portfolio working across our exciting categories. Key elements of the role include the full end to end management of licensors while driving the strategic vision for licensing. You will enjoy keeping up to date with trends to ensure we're continuously innovating. Key responsibilities Manage our licensed and celebrity business, across Reusable Bags, Health & Beauty / Household, with potential for the Food sector End to end management of licensors Ensure we have the right license portfolio, spotting trends in the market so we stay ahead of the game Manage all aspects of contracts: including royalties, terms, relationships, payments, renewals Manage the existing and new license portfolio New licensing onboarding About you Minimum 5 years proven experience in the licensing industry Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset Strong negotiation and relationship building skills Confident presentation skills with experience in presenting to a wide range of stakeholders Solid contract knowledge from royalties to renewals What we offer Competitive salary with annual salary reviews Structured bonuses (based on company & individual performance) Work flexibly: work where it works for you Salary sacrifice pension scheme 25 days holiday per annum, increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service and 30 days after 5 years’ service Learning and development and progression opportunities Solent social events run by our inhouse Social Team Cycle to work scheme Please visit us at https://.../work-with-us/ for further details.
