We are leading the way in research, education and community support; we ensure perimenopausal and menopausal women are fully supported and informed. Newson Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Brand Marketing to lead our brand strategy and execution. This senior-level position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive brand strategy to enhance brand recognition, drive customer engagement, and increase market share. You will have a proven track record that shows you have the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies that drive growth and profitability. The Head of Brand Marketing will oversee the development and implementation of integrated brand marketing campaigns, create and maintain brand guidelines, define brand messaging, and manage the visual identity and tone of voice. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including head of editorial and education, commercial, operations, and healthcare practitioners, to ensure brand alignment with overall business objectives. You will be expected to think and deliver at a strategic level, but also balance this with being hands on and operational. Responsibilities: Drive strategic growth initiatives for the Newson Health brand portfolio, promoting innovation and achieving commercial success. Develop and implement strategic brand marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, perception, and loyalty for Newson Health. Lead the development and maintenance of the brand's visual identity, including logos, colour schemes, typography, and design elements, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of brand marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events. Conduct consumer research and gather insights to understand customer perceptions, preferences, and behaviours, informing brand strategies and initiatives. Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to brand health, such as brand awareness, sentiment, and loyalty, to measure the effectiveness of brand marketing efforts. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including commercial, health care practitioners, operations, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of brand messaging and values across the organisation. Identify strategic brand partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that align with the brand's values and target audience, increasing brand visibility and credibility. Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to help them achieve their goals and objectives. Manage external agencies. The above list of responsibilities is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post. Strategic marketing and brand leadership: Able to manage brand marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources to different initiatives and channels based on their potential for driving brand growth and impact and channels achieving commercial business objectives. Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the strategic vision to influence and shape the overall direction of the business. Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies for healthcare or B2C companies, with a strong understanding of commercial and business goals to deliver marketing strategy that is aligned and drives business growth. Strong understanding of brand positioning, messaging, and brand storytelling. Experience in building and managing brand guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all channels. Ability to lead and mentor a brand marketing team, fostering a creative and results-oriented environment. Budget management experience and the ability to allocate resources effectively. Marketing expertise and data analysis: · In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, targeting, and campaign measurement. · Experience with conducting consumer research and analysing data to understand customer needs and preferences. · Expertise in developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, events). · Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and measure the effectiveness of brand marketing campaigns using KPIs. Communication and collaboration: · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present brand strategies to diverse audiences and a wide stakeholder group up to and including board members. · Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment with business objectives. · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. · Able to lead multiple complex projects through to conclusion Personal attributes & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Extensive experience in brand marketing roles, with significant experience in a leadership or management role. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends, and brand positioning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate ideas, strategies, and results to senior management and stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of brand marketing professionals to achieve goals and objectives. Strong business acumen and influencing skills. Ability to manage all levels of stakeholder with high expectations and strong work ethic. Take personal and professional pride in delivering a high quality of work. Able to manage time, priorities and a heavy workload, including multiple projects at once. Advocate and role model for change and continuous improvement. Takes accountability for team delivery and outputs. Experience in the healthcare or wellness sector is a plus.
