The GS Finance Tech & Process Global Process Owner for End-to-End Financial Closing is responsible to drive global standard end-to-end process and solution design (including but not limited to TranSCend S4 HANA) for Global Services Finance in partnership with TranSCend Finance GPO organisation.
The role is responsible for driving the overall strategy, design, policies, digitization and optimization of the value stream processes, ensuring that the end-to-end process meets business priorities, limited localization where essential and achieves its transformation goals.
TranSCend is a multi-year digital transformation journey that will harmonize our many disparate global ERPs into a single SAP/S4 HANA platform to modernize our digital core and enable a digitized end-to-end (E2E) business.
SigniFi is a multi-year transformation journey for the finance function looking to harmonize, standardize, automate and streamline our actuals and planning finance processes, and underlying ERP systems.
Main accountabilities.
Verify Finance alignment to the global process and related accounting treatment (incl T&P Leadership, SigniFi, GPOs) Plan and roadmap the objectives of future capabilities Represent the function as point of contact in the E2E Process design Participate in design workshops and fit gap discussions to shape the solutions Work with other Functional Leads to make cross-functional KDDs and other decisions Make Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and socialize with Functional Owners Assess process exceptions / process adherence and (if needed) raise to project team Perform End to end assessment on feasibility of proposed changes Validate change impacts and communicate to functional teams (organizational, process, tech) Drive stakeholder alignment Verify Finance alignment to the global process and related accounting treatment (incl T&P Leadership, SigniFi, GPOs) Plan and roadmap the objectives of future capabilities Represent the function as point of contact in the E2E Process design Participate in design workshops and fit gap discussions to shape the solutions Work with other Functional Leads to make cross-functional KDDs and other decisions Make Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and socialize with Functional Owners Assess process exceptions / process adherence and (if needed) call out to project team Perform End to end assessment on feasibility of proposed changes Validate change impacts and communicate to functional teams (organizational, process, tech) Drive team member alignment Coordinate SMA (Subject Matter Advisory) network Communicate the objective of the solutions (interim and end-state) Review/ Approve design planning outputs and prioritization Provide input into readiness plans for the function, including deployment tasks Verify delivered capabilities vs design via testing and accept completed scope Attend system demos and invite the appropriate audience from SMA network Support role mapping Support Training Content development as Course owner and deliver training to the operational team Align with deployment on the stabilization plan Manage process to communicate messaging with end users and customers Prioritization for any process redesign / improvement Represent GS Finance in key meetings / decisions as needed Act as a process expert across all waves for respective process, linking with Process Release Leads Qualifications Experience & Qualification 5 to 10 Years job experience, preferably in A2R and Supply Chain Finance Professional Accountancy qualification Experience working with JDE and SAP accounting systems Proficient in English and strong presentation skills, able to frame effectively and simplify sophisticated topics into cohesive, understandable content for specific to audience incl Leadership Expert in their process area Make own decisions Drive consensus across multiple parties with conflicting views Take a pragmatic view while prioritizing functionality—make tradeoffs for the best enterprise solution Forward thinking and able to proactively identify risks and weigh resulting impacts Champion the global template solution and frame changes in a way that engages and excites the end user community AGILE / FPX project management capability Technical Specific Skills.
US GAAP Financial Closing Processes including CFIN/Transact/Transcend Other Job Specific Skills.
Ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues Ability to work and lead under pressure Ability to work autonomously and independently Ability to adapt to changing environment Ability to assess business readiness for successful transition Ability to plan and coordinate multiple and complex deployment activities Understanding of J&J finance processes Understanding of GS Finance organization / environment is a plus Experience in Finance Transformation (Tech & Process) is desirable Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
